ARCHITECTURAL
FIRM SEEKING APPLICANTS
Design-7 P.C. is seeking applicants to fill one or two part time positions during the remainder of the school year. At least one position may also include full time summer break employment.
The position involves the preparation of construction drawings utilizing AutoCad 2010, but may include other miscellaneous responsibilities such as design development drawings, perspectives, construction site observation, etc.
We prefer applicants in the third year or fourth year of the architectural program possibly including a position after graduation.
Minimum requirements to be considered for the positions will be as follows: 1. Proficiency in AutoCad Release 2010. 2. A class schedule which allows for setting up a flexible work schedule of 16 hours minimum with at least 4 three hour blocks of time and a minimum of two hour blocks of time for the remaining time committed to the position. Alternate hours can be scheduled during finals, class deadlines, etc. 3. Experience working for a lumberyard, contractor, architect or engineer utilizing AutoCad knowledge to produce construction documents is desirable.
Applicants who have on site experience in the building industry, including remodeling, new construction, etc. are desired and will be given preference.
